Measurable muscle development
If your training goal is to build muscle, the InBody test measures muscle mass in five parts of the body and tracks the change over time.
InBody 270
A body composition scan with the InBody 270 shows muscle mass, body fat percentage and fluid balance. That gives you a baseline to measure against, instead of just your weight.
Free for new members along with the PT session
You take the printout home with you, along with a walkthrough of what the numbers mean. The next scan is measured against the last one, so you can see what is actually changing.

A body composition scan gives you an accurate picture of your body composition, including muscle mass, fat mass and fluid levels.
If the goal is to slim down, the point is not the number on the scales but reducing fat mass. InBody analyses muscle mass and fat mass separately.
An InBody test lets you see documented results from your training programme or from changes to your diet. The results sheet shows protein levels, minerals and fluid levels inside and outside the cells, as well as muscle mass and fat mass.
ENERGY Fitness offers body composition scans to all members at our gyms. If you are not a member, just get in touch.

InBody measures visceral fat, the fatty tissue that surrounds the internal organs in the abdomen. Too much of it can have negative health effects.
Because muscle mass is measured in each part of the body separately, you can compare your left and right leg, for example. That is particularly useful when rebuilding after an injury.
