Early morning
From 5am to 7am there is usually plenty of room at every gym.
Opening hours
Three of our four gyms are open around the clock, every day all year round. You get in with the Membro app even when reception is unstaffed.
The gyms are normally open on public holidays too
| Gym | Open for members | Staffed reception |
|---|---|---|
| Larvik | Open 24/7, every day all year round | Mon and Tue 5pm to 8pm |
| Tønsberg | Open 24/7, every day all year round | Mon and Thu 5pm to 7pm |
| Borgheim | Open 5am to midnight, every day all year round | Monday 3pm to 6pm |
| Stord | Open 24/7, every day all year round | Mon and Wed 5pm to 8pm |
Note: Borgheim is open 5am to midnight, not around the clock like the other three.
From 5am to 7am there is usually plenty of room at every gym.
Between 4pm and 7pm is the busiest time. Expect a queue for the most popular machines.
After 9pm it thins out again. If you want the gym almost to yourself, that is usually the time.
The gyms are unstaffed for most of the opening hours, so you let yourself in. It is simpler than it sounds.
Your access sits in the Membro app, which is your digital access card. You log in with the mobile number you signed up with, and it lets you into every ENERGY gym. If you would rather have a physical card, a key fob costs NOK 99 and is bought at the gym. About access
Access is personal. Letting other people in on your membership means a fee and your access being blocked for two weeks. That is also why the door has to lock behind you before you go further in.
Reception is staffed a few fixed hours a week at each gym. If you need help with membership, a key fob or equipment, that is when to drop by. Otherwise you reach us at hei@energyfitness.no. If you have trouble getting in with the Membro app, the number for the local duty phone is posted by the entrance.
Four things that make your first session at a self-service gym easier.
The access card sits in the app. Log in with the mobile number you signed up with, and your access is there.
The first time, it is a good idea to come during staffed hours. Then someone can show you where things are, and you can buy a key fob if you want one.
You are responsible for your own access. Check that nobody follows you in and that the door closes fully.
Put the weights back and wipe down the machine. In a gym that is open around the clock, nobody does it after you. Gym rules
